In 2002, the Lucky Wishbone Restaurant was selected as the Alaska Business of the Year by the Alaska Small Business Association.
In February 2005, the Municipality of Anchorage recognized the Lucky Wishbone cofounders, Harold George and Peggy Brown, with a resolution honoring their accomplishments.
In June of 2025, the Lucky Wishbone Restaurant was awarded as an American Classic Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation.
